“The Self Catering Apartment” is a newly renovated 13th Floor Apartment, in an access controlled high
rise building known as “Roca Marina” (9 Argyle Road, North Beach, Durban – behind the Blue Waters
Hotel), converted into a self-catering holiday apartment and set in the heart of North Beach (Golden Mile),
Durban, with a 180 degree seaview, clear view of Moses Mabida Stadium and overlooking Suncoast Casino
and Durban’s famous promenade.

“The Apartment” is a five sleeper self-catering unit with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The fully
furnished, open plan unit boasts a spacious separate kitchen, cosy lounge area with full DStv and an
enclosed balcony/sun lounge with exceptional views.

 ACCOMMODATION

The main bedroom has a queen bed while the second bedroom has twin beds. There is a bathroom (with washing machine), separate toilet and separate shower. The kitchen is fitted and fully equipped with fridge, microwave, oven, hob, dishwasher etcetera.

 Living area is open plan with lounge/dining area with an 8-Seater Dining Table and small 2-seater breakfast nook. There is also an enclosed balcony, where there is a sleeper couch for the fifth person.

The apartment is equipped with DStv (Compact Bouquet), mini Hi-Fi, DVD Player and Ceiling Fans.

Kitchen, bath and toilet cleaning products are supplied. Main Bedroom has a dressing table equipped with a hairdryer for your convenience. All linen and towels is supplied for your convenience.

FACILITIES

The Roca Marina has a beautiful front garden and a swimming pool above the garages at the rear. You can braai by the swimming pool (only gas braai’s allowed).

PLEASE NOTE

Smoking is not permitted in the bedrooms but you may smoke in the living area. Strictly no pets are allowed. The Company Rules of Rocca Marina must be adhered to.

This apartment strictly only sleeps 5 persons.

PARKING

  • One undercover parking is available in the lower garage – access controlled.
  • Secure off street parking is also available at the front and back of the premises.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

  • Moses Mabida Stadium and Suncoast Casino are within walking distance.
  • The Beachfront Promenade is approximately 30 meters from the front entrance of the premises.
  • The Suncoast Beach front is right there for those that would like to have a swim in the ocean or suntan & picnic in comfort.

THE AREA

The North beach, Suncoast Beach, Battery beach & waterpark and Blue Lagoon are within walking distance. Bring along your Bicycle, fishing gear and surfboards as this is an ideal spot for all three.

With magnificent sea views, this is the ideal place to relax and perhaps catch a glimpse of dolphins and whales. From here you are very close to shopping centres, a number of restaurants and a number of fabulous activities.

While here make sure you visit the Moses Mabida Stadium, Ushaka Marine World, Tranquil Botanical Gardens, Mitchell’s Park Nature Reserve, Umgeni River Bird Park and the Main Beach Flea Market.
